Guitar stompboxes were once an addiction of mine. Collecting and building a monster pedal board to experiment and combine effects, often resulting in a cacophony of ridiculous noise, was a lot of fun and I spent an obscene amount of money trying to build my dream setup for jamming on. Recently I came across a website for pedal kits Fuzzdogs Pedal Parts and was interested to have a go at building one, improve my soldering skills and hopefully end up with a useable Tube Screamer to play with.
MixRadios hack week was again a total blast, I built my first project in Unity called MixRift: An interactive guessing game based around exploring MixRadio mixes with the Oculus Rift.
A quick diary of MixRifts development during hackweek.
Through the freedom of being asked ‘what would you like to create at work this week?’ and excitement of recently acquiring an Oculus Rift DK. I had a go at hacking together a maze game to saunter around in whilst listening to music for MixRadios very first hack week.
I’ve recorded some music. Click play below or head to my soundcloud to have a listen.
